Bridges

Overview:

Founded in 1927, this nonprofit unites the Deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing communities through education, services, and support, empowering individuals to achieve their best. Bridges had decided to migrate from its present CRM to Salesforce NPSP to support its Fundraising and the management of its volunteers and its programs.

Challenge:

The nonprofit lacked the internal ability to manage the Salesforce project in addition to capital constraints.

Assessment:

Given the capital constraints, we utilized offshore resources. As for the project schedule, it demanded a hard delivery date for Phase One in order to support year-end giving.

Results:

Delivered Phase One on-budget and in-time to support year-end given and implemented Volunteer functionality.

Show Hope

http://www.showhope.org

Overview:

Donor growth constrained by dual CRMs with conflicting data. Burdensome, manual application process for grants.

Challenge:

Automation of grant application required custom backend and web portal. Extensive data cleansing. Multiple stakeholders/demands across departments.

Assessment:

Compared leading CRM, Peer-to-Peer, web portal, and email marketing solutions through RFP process. Project oversight and implementation of custom solutions suite.

Results:

Unified CRM with accurate data produced actionable reporting. Implemented targeted promotional campaigns. Significantly streamlined processes for grant application and management to staff and applicants.

"In an organization like Show Hope, a lot of complex things have to get done everyday, handled by interdepartmental teams. As you can imagine, there can be a lot of operational break points. We brought Mission: Nonprofit (M:NP) in to close those gaps with technology efficiencies. We are demanding by necessity at times, and they delivered on every single one through multiple releases, all while fitting into our culture here as “one of the team.” It was from my direct experience with M:NP that I personally referred them onto another nonprofit organization without hesitance. M:NP made Show Hope’s work, their work, and it shows in their quality and attitude."

Hands & Feet Project

http://www.handsandfeetproject.org

Overview:

Outgrown current CMS. Desired to streamline child sponsorship process to donors. Wanted to implement a Peer-to-Peer solution to open up another donation channel.

Challenge:

Multiple silos of data and systems and processes. CMS vendor sunsetted support on the solution.

Assessment:

Compared leading CRM and Peer-to-Peer solutions through RFP process and led vendor selection. Managed project implementation.

Results:

New CRM and Peer-to-Peer solution implemented successfully. Unlocked incremental revenue via the new Peer-to-Peer channel.

"Hands and Feet Project partnered with Mission: Nonprofit (M:NP) on some critical core systems implementation in managing constituents. When the project went sideways during implementation, M:NP aggressively got everything refocused and back on track. The M:NP team went above and beyond, to the extent that founder Mark Short personally invested countless additional hours to see it through to completion. Did the project go off the rails? Yes. Did M:NP tighten their bootstraps and dig in to make it right? Absolutely. Their genuinely invested partnership has not only positioned Hands and Feet Project for greater future endeavors, but has proven to me that there is deeper motivation driving this company other than the project payday. I would recommend them to anybody who seeks an organization with integrity and transparency that delivers what they promise to deliver."

Grace Community Church

http://www.gccnashville.org

Overview:

Website needed to be refreshed and updated. Church staff did not have skill set and simply wanted to focus on ministry.

Challenge:

Breaking out of the rut. Needed a new staff position (possibly external to church) but not sure how to proceed.

Website content outdated and lacked SEO optimization. No site metrics. No proactive management.

Results:

Ongoing support relationship for website administration and development. Improved site traffic by 15%. Staff redirected entire focus to ministry activities.

"Mission: Nonprofit has been such an incredible help! They are very detailed oriented, easy to work with, and willing to field all kinds of requests. They take care of it, so I can do what I need to do. I've really been appreciative of what Mission: Nonprofit brings to Grace Community Church and how they help us do our ministry."

Time is what keeps things from happening all at once. There are three kinds of people: Those who can count and those who can't. We have enough youth…"How about a fountain of "Smart"! Why is "abbreviation" such a long word? The severity of the itch is inversely proportional to the ability to reach it! I don't find it hard to meet expenses…they're everywhere! The hardness of butter is directly proportional to the softness of the bread. If at first you don't succeed, don't try skydiving. Energizer Bunny arrested! Charged with battery. Nonprofit does not mean 'does not provide profit to the cause we serve'. 47.2% of all statistics are made up on the spot. If you aim for nothing in particular, you are bound to hit it. I can see exactly zero years into the future…I have 2020 vision. If tomatoes are technically a fruit, is ketchup technically a smoothie? Of all the possible utensils that could have been invented to eat rice with…how did two sticks win out?
